What We Do
We Help Individuals & Organizations Using Evidence Based Mentorship
Our projects are designed to help those in need. We do not require that you belong to any particular religious affiliation or financially support us to utilize our services in any way. We do ask that you return one good deed with another and perform an act of kindness. This generous cycle of compassion and goodwill continues indefinitely.
Why We Are Effective
Mentorship, Sponsorship, and Peer-to-Peer support are proven techniques that aid almost any individual or community cause in need of assistance. Gold Canyon Heart & Home (GCHH) was founded by a group of mentors, sponsors, and peer-to-peer educators from every walk of life and from every age group, vocation, profession, and demographic.
GCHH is partnering with the Arizona AARP to promote the practice of
"Disrupting Aging Models"
THE TRIPLE CROWN CHALLENGE
The Triple Crown Trail Project is one hiker achieving a monumental goal of completing roughly 7,900 miles of trails but it is also much more. This project will also provide video of all three trails…the Pacific Crest Trail, the Appalachian Trail, and the Continental Divide Trail using a mosaic approach from volunteers who will be asked to hike along various trail sections with Michael Fagan during his attempt. This project truly embodies the paradigm that age is just a number, and that aging can be just another part of the way we manage our health. Did we mention our volunteer hiker Michael is 71 years old!?
